Help with disabling continue button! (case 22218)

    Hi Jason,

I am having an issue with presentation of a page on Medialab. Basically what I want to do is have participants hear an audio file (using backsound) while selecting a multiple scale response. However I want them to listen to the full audio before moving on and selecting their choice. For some reason using the d-60 parameter won't disable the continue button. So participants are able to select an item and skip ahead before the audio is complete. Any help you could give me would be great!

    Thanks

    Alex

You would most likely need to use a Custom item instead of the Multiple response item. Take a look at this forum thread with an example of the htm code for an essay item type:

You would just need to modify this from an essay item to a scale or multiple choice item.

    Hi Jason,

I've created this javascript to put as a custom item, and I wanted to pipe the text that they select for other upcoming questions. Is there anyway to do that? Also I wanted the radio buttons to appear a bit bigger (forgive me I am a javascript noob- I had to get a friend to send me an example script so I could even figure out what radio buttons WERE).

Your help, as always, is very much appreciated!

    Alex,

Just checking in to see if there are unresolved issues that I can help with. I just want to know what the to-do list on your end needs.
