Analog Clock with milliseconds (case 16839)

Hi, All,

I need to program an analog clock with milliseconds for a task that requires participants to estimate when they press a button by the position of the hand on the clock. Does anyone know how to do that, or where to get started?

You could create a video file of the analog clock for DirectRT to display and then define valid keypresses for the participants. Let's say that you had a video file of the analog clock and you wanted participants to press the spacebar when the clock showed a particular time. You could put the name of the video file in the stim cell of a particular trial (see http://www.empirisoft.com/directrt/help/directrt_stim.htm) and then typing rt:57 in the time cell (see http://www.empirisoft.com/directrt/help/directrt_time.htm#time_keypresses).

Thank you. I think that will work.

I need to play a tone when the participant presses a key, but have the video keep playing for a random interval afterwards. I can get the tone to play, but I can't figure out how to get the video to keep going.

Do you mean the same video both before and after the keypress, or one video before the keypress and a different video after the keypress? Can you include a copy of any .csv input file you have so far for me to work from?
