DirectRT with Cedrus StimTracker (case 16338)

I will be using a Neuroscan EEG system with a Cedrus Stimtracker and an Cedrus RB-740 button Box. I'd really like to use DirectRT with the system, but before purchasing I thought it best to see if anyone has had success using DirectRT with this equipment. Thanks

It's been a while, so forgive my ignorance. Does the -740 button box have the capability to send regular ASCII characters via a virtual COM port, or can it emulate a regular keyboard? If either is true, DirectRT should have no problemreceiving that sort of data.
