Missing two important items (case 15061)
Hi there,
I'm sure someone else has had this problem, and I think I know what I did wrong to cause it but now I don't know how to fix it. I am missing two items in my xcel and SPSS data output. I know that the questions are asked, and they show up in the "question order" file. I think the variable names were too long so that is why they aren't working, but they are important and I need to find them. Please advise.

For the two items in question, is the "Write data to file" box at the top of each item's detail window checked? If so, you did not find the items recorded in either the ByQuestionnaire or ByVariablename folders in the Data folder?
Yes, that seems to be the issue. Is there a way to retrieve those data?
If the "Write data to file box" was not checked, then nothing from those items was initially recorded for any of the times MediaLab ran that file? Thus, unfortunately, there is no data from those items at all and nothing to retrieve.
