Media Labs + Direct RT suddenly not collecting Data (case 12585)

Hi,

I'm running a MediaLabs and DirectRT experiment on two computers in our lab. Just the other day, one of the computers no longer collects any data for either MediaLabs or DirectRT. It runs the experiment just like normal, however no data is collected.

This is extremely frustrating and inconvenient as now we're limited to only one computer as we try to troubleshoot this issue. Any ideas on why the data mysteriously stopped recording and collecting ANY data?

A couple of questions:

1) If you run one or two of the .exp files from the Samples folder on this same computer, do they gather data or not?

2) Did you do a search on this computer for the file with the same name as your .exp file, but with a .csv, .sav. or .txt format? I just want to be sure that it may not have saved in a different location on your comptuer?

3) Could you please upload a copy of your .que and .exp files from the computer that does not appear to be saving the data so that I may take a look at them?

Hi Jason,

Thanks for you quick response, we trouble shot the issue.

We have both the data from both computers uploaded to our dropbox folder. It seems the first computers internet WiFi adapter malfunctioned. Because we do not use this computer to go online with and only run participants, we didn't realize as we nothing was being uploaded to the dropbox folder as the other computer was.
