Custom items in v. 2008 1.33. (case 8026)

Hello everybody,

I`m having problems with creating custom items: I want subjects to answer a questionaire. Therefore, I have several html-files, each containing about four items (scale response). These I`d like to use as custom items, but the problems are that firstly, the also in html programmed continue button doesn`t work and subjects get stuck on the first page, and secondly nothing is saved, the data folder never changes..
I have seen the other threads, similiar to this topic but the example-files don`t really work with my version and to be honest I am very new to the whole MediaLab and html stuff, so I would be grateful if you kept your answer as simple as possible.

Hi mongrel,

Could you please tell me why you want to use Custom items? If you wanted to create a questionnaire that had scale items, MediaLab has the capability to do that with the Scale Response item type. Any details you could provide about why you need to use the Custom item or the study in general would be appreciated.
