Skip option separate from response (case 2872)

Skip option separate from response (case 2872)

I am conducting a study where participants read a scenario and then answer questions about the scenario on subsequent pages. I'd like to have an option where participants choose to re-read the scenario once they see an individual question. I can't use the GoBack button, because in some cases the most recent previous screen will have contained a question rather than the scenario.

I know I can use a skip function, but I'd like the "Click here to re-read the scenario" button to be at the top of the page and separate from, for example, a scale response. Is there any way to have both a "Re-read scenario" button and a question on the same page?

    Thanks!

One possibility comes to mind. What if the response pages had an html background area containing a link (see "Background" in the "Questionnaire" section of the user's guide). That link could read "Re-read the scenario" or some such. The link could be for a -pop-up- HTML page with whatever you wanted them to see. That way they wouldn't even have to leave the page to see whatever you want to show again. I think we offered this as a solution in the past when a user wanted to be able to show the Spanish translation of text on a given item. Participants could click on a translation link and a Spanish text pop-up HTML would appear.
