How to randomise the order of the response choices

I contacted you last year about generating random values from the responses.xls files to create case scenarios (or vignettes).
I have a new question here. After that respondents had to respond to a question by giving a single response among a set of four choice categorical options. At the time, after reading the manual (v.2010) I believed I could not randomise the order of the response choices.
Am I still correct in believing this is true?

Take a look at this thread and see if the posted sample helps--it uses a custom item to randomize the presentation order of scale item response options but without affecting the response data in any way. Look for the file "random_scale_options.zip" here:
