Removing Continue Button and Ordering Sound Files
Removing Continue Button and Ordering Sound Files
Hi,
I'm writing an experiment where the responses (numbers 1-9) have to be collected immediately after a sound file is played. Currently, after playing each sound file, the program waits for the subject to hit continue before moving to the respond screen.
Also, I have all the sound files prerandomized in a specific fashion and I want media lab to follow this list (but with a 2 second time window between each sound file for the response).
I'm still learning the basic of MediaLab but any pointers to get me started on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Anil.
Hi,
I figured that direct RT may be a better way to perform the experiment. I have posted a related question on the directRT forum.

Yes, it would be easier to do this in DirectRT but you would need to determine the length of the sound files in advance. This can be done easily and with a high degree of precision using a freeware program like Audacity (e.g., see download.com).
