    Software with neurophysiology

    Hello,

I'm new and i have many questions before purchase any software!

I want to know if it's possible to connect and control, or at least synchronize, Medialab or Direct Rt or e-prime, or other software, with neurophysiological machines such EEG or EMG. By now i don't know which equipment we will have to use.

    Any idea or adivice?
    Thank you very much!

Both MediaLab and DirectRT can communicate with the outside world. Many of our users have successfully interfaced with external systems (biological monitoring, eye positition tracking, etc).

Here are some past discussions regarding...

    ...synchronizing 2 machines:

If you could describe in a bit more detail what you'd like to accomplish, we can certainly offer more suggestions.

    Hello,
    I already know the machine.
The machine that i will use is the Medtronic Keypoint classic (neurophysiological stimulation). This machine has an input in form of male COM port. I need only an electric input, like a circuit closing or switch, coming from the software DirectRT, when a picture is showed in order to elicitate an electric stimulation output from Keypoint. Do you understand? if any exlplanation is needed i would be glad to answer questions.

My question is, can I do this with DirectRT and a laptop?

    Thank you very very much

Can you perhaps post a link for the Medtronic system?

The interface shouldn't be difficult, but I'd hate to mislead you without first seeing their documentation.
