WriteText (case 481)

Hi,

I have a basic question. I am using Medialab version 2008. In the questionnaire file, there is "WriteText" question. Mediablab sets the defualt value as '2". What does this default setting mean? Should I change it for some type of questions? And, how can I change it? Some posts on this forum say you can "uncheck" the WriteText. Does unchecking mean that you change the value to "0" or some other number? As far as I can see, there is nothing to uncheck, just numbers.
