    We regularly use MediaLab in our studies, but have recently run into a problem with one experiment we are running. The experiment involves showing images of web pages on the screen. We have converted these web pages into word documents, but have found this format retains the web links. The problem with this is that if a participant clicks on the image at any time, it leaves the MediaLab program and opens an internet page, interrupting the experiment. Is there any way to make it so that the participant can click on the image in MediaLab without disrupting the program? I would greatly appreciate any advice you might have regarding this issue.

    Sounds like what you need is an actual *image* of the webpage! You could get that by pulling it up on screen and pressing the print screen button on your keyboard. You can then open an image editing program and paste the image into an image file and crop it as you like and then save it as a .jpg or .gif file. That way it will look exactly as it did when it was live but will be 100% disabled. Let me know if you need any help with it.
