Response-dependent trials
Response-dependent trials
Hi
I wonder how flexible are directrt or media lab for response dependent trial configuration. I know tahtone can do basic stuff such as if they answer left go to question1 if right go to question 2 etc, but how about more complicated designs?
A good example is reversal learning. The subject choses between two stimuli, with one stimulus being more rewarding. After some trial and error the subject understands which stimulus is more rewarding and selects that. I would like the computer to make note how many times the subject has selected the correct stimulus. If the subject has selected the correct stimulus 4 times, then the contingencies should change, with stimulus B being more rewarding.
Thanks
George
I'd also like to know whether DirectRt has response-dependent trial functionality that could be used for reversal learning tasks, e.g. requiring 10 correct responses before moving on to another set of trials.
Thanks
I'd like to find the answer to this question as well.
Thank you
DirectRT currently does not have this capability.
