odd data recording issues

Hi,

Occasionally, data in my output csv for a single participant is getting spliced up across multiple rows, so I have to recombine them.

That alone wouldn't be so bad, but I've also noticed I've lost about 8.5% of my data over multiple data collections with this program and I'm wondering the if two issues are related. It seems like when the data gets chopped up and starts writing on the next line that it may be overwriting data? I can't figure out what's going on..

Attached is a sample of how the data output is getting spliced. Any ideas what could be causing it? And is it also the reason why I'm losing some data?

to follow up on my question, this issue occurs across multiple computers. it seems to be random. i'm using medialab 2010.
