Problems with data collection
We are having some issues with medialab on our laboratory computers. With one experiment we are running, sometimes it will run until the end of the experiment, but most of the time it just ends the experiment before it allows the answers to be put in for the final 5 questions or so. We are confused why it might be doing this, because if it was a glitch in how we'd written the experiment (and we've double checked things to make sure it looks good), we would assume we'd encounter the same problem every time. In addition, even when it kicks out early, most of the time it collects the data up until that point, but once in a while it doesn't collect any data at all. Sometimes it seems that there are certain computers in the lab that are more prone to having these glitches happen on. We were wondering if anybody had reported issues like this with odd things happening with data collection or running an experiment? Could this be some sort of compatibility problem between a version of media lab and a version of windows on certain computers or anything like that?

This kind of thing has happened a handful of times in the past and for various reasons--most of which have been fixed for a while now. Without going into too much right off, may I ask what version of MediaLab you are running, your OS version and could you post a zipped folder of you .exp and .que files? The latter could be done after the other info if it's not convenient to attach the files right now..
