Can you skip online rating items?

Hi,

I was just wondering if it is possible to use the skipping secret key (CTRL + Right Arrow) for online rating items. Because the left and right arrow keys are being used in that item type, the skip doesn't seem to work. Obviously, I wouldn't want the participant to skip the item during a study, but some of the sound/video files I use for these items have a somwehat long duration and it takes up time when previewing the questionnaire.

Hi Luke,

Nope, no way to use them because, as you figured, they are being used for the item itself. A workaround would be to use a temporary, shorter stimulus during testing and then put in the longer version when you're ready to run.
