I am new to medialab and am trying to get the webtracker to work. I’ve selected “webtracker” under “Item type” and then typed in the web address, which appears both in “question wording/file name” and “filename.” I also wanted to time people, so I put (d-300) under “parameter.”

When I run the experiment to test it, however, it pulls up Internet Explorer and says that the website cannot be found. What am I missing?

The website I'm trying to embed has a url that starts with https:// and does not have a www ... could this be causing problems?

The https could be the issue. When the error page comes up, try right clicking on it and selecting "Properties" and then look at the URL. Select it, copy it, and then paste it into Internet Explorer. You can see that way if there is a transformation of the URL occurring somewhere.
