    "biofeedback" capability

wouldn't it be great if the new version could display stimuli based on a participants automatic responses (e.g., saccades or SCR)?

probably would make dRT more attractive to commercial users too...

no need to send me a premium, this one is on me ;-)

    Baruch,

Can you give an example of what you are envisioning? Like someone hits a heart rate of x and so they get some soothing music or images? That kind of thing?

how about "automatic" eye movements as triggers? e.g., if a participant saccades to a prespecified location on the screen then X follows.

SCR info, even imaging data (but that would be very hard)...

basically, it would be great if all that is easily fedback to the pc (through a biopack system or any other) can be used as a trigger for events.

Interesting idea! I'm guessing you know that DirectRT can be set to sit and wait for an incoming TTL signal from another program--but there is currently no way to do this in parallel with a running input file. And of course it would be up to the other system to figure out when to send the signal in order that DirectRT could watch for it and react accordingly.
