Mismatch for Resp and Name in output file
In the Output file for a DirectRT log file, the two columns, 'Resp' and 'Name' are not matching up. Thus, a person had to make a rating from 1-9, and for about half of trials, for example, the 'Resp' codes the number 6, but the 'Name' codes the number 7. But on other trials, 'Resp' codes 6, and 'Name' codes 6.
In addition, we do have multiple responses per trial, people are asked to rate a picture on arousal (First response) and valence (second response).
And in the file, for the first response, the 'Resp' and 'Name' always match up. But for the second response this is when the 'Resp' and 'Name' sometimes match and sometimes don't.
My question is, which response is the valid answer?
What was your method of input for these different responses? Anything other than a regular keyboard? Can you attach a sample input file and corresponding LOG data file?
