Hi,
I've been working on a study that requires showing a statement, then showing 2 visual stimul and having a participant select one of them. However the study has changed so now that now when a statement is shown it will also play an audio recording of the statement being read. However the statements are currently randomized without replacement, is there a way to tell the program to select and play the audio recording that is connected to a specific statement once the statement is randomly selected by directRT?
(Attached is an example of what the program currently looks like the statements are the rows without the XXX's and blanks after the image file is shown.
Ok disregard the last post I've worked around the problem, the problem I now have is I want Direct RT to switch to the next stimulus as soon as an audio file ends. The problem is I have over 144 audio files all with different lengths, can directRT automatically detect and switch when the audio ends? Or do I need to enter all the individual lengths into the time field?
