Scale Response Option Causes MediaLab to Hard Exit...
Hi,
Attached is a 12-item scale response questionnaire. For each item, one can choose between 6 options: always right, right, no real preference, left, always left, and not applicable. Whenever the "left" option is chosen, the questionnaire (and any experiments that include it) hard exits instead of going on to the next question, and all of the remaining questions receive a value of 99 in the data file. This problem is happening on multiple computers. All of the other response options work fine. I can't see any reason for this to be happening, so any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
I know you must be busy, but I hope to get this experiment running by next week, so I'd really appreciate it if you could get back to me as quickly as possible.
Yes!! I've fixed it. This problem stumped me for quite a while. Very exciting! I tried running your file, and noticed what you were trying to achieve with the brackets. I apologize for my previous advice.
It would seem that some how the data within your questionnaire had been corrupted. The ID's were completely out of order which seems to have caused our previous versions of MediaLab to randomly 'spaz' out at certain locations.
I've attached a fixed version of your questionnaire. In order to fix the file I used a newer copy of our beta experiment editor to reorganize your questionnaire. The questionnaire should be exactly the same as before - only the bug has been fixed.

The questionnaire seems to work fine now, especially since I removed all of the old data files. Thanks!
