When I attempt to run an input file in DirectRT, it will not work. It makes this large bonging noise and a error occurs. I have version 2008. Anyone else have this problem.

Hi - Let's see..
Is this for all input files? (ie. Have you been able to successfully run any of the samples?)
What OS are you running? DirectRT will currently not run on Vista unless you're using the beta.
I have not been able to run any samples at all. I have no idea what to do. An error window pops up with code error 0003

Most of these issues were resolved with the release of v2010.3 and again with v2012.4 (posted March 1st, 2012). Any chance you could try installing one of these versions to see if it can resolve the input file opening problem you are experiencing?

Thanks! The update seems to have done the trick
Note that a few releases of ATI's Radeon HD graphics cards can still result in display issues like this. If this applies to your machine(s), please contact us directly via support @ empirisoft.com for a workaround solution.
