Hi,
I am interested in using voice RT-automatic (rt:aud). It says as follows:
"The easiest to implement of all the voice response methods, this traditional method instructs DirectRT to simply wait until a voice response occurs and then to immediately continue with the next stimulus or trial. This is illustrated in the sample "stroop automatic.csv'"
However, when I ran this sample, DirectRT just went through automatically even with no voice responses. It seems that DirectRT does not wait until a voice response occurs.
Is there anything wrong?
Jae, make sure the appropriate settings are specified for the sensitivity of the microphone. See the following link for more information:

Well... Even when there is no microphone connected, DirectRT just went through automatically with no voice responses. I've tried the other samples relating to voice responses but the same thing happens. Could you check out those samples by running them without connecting any microphone? If yours is doing fine, please let me know. For your infomration, my DirectRt version is 2006.
Do the video clips have sound--if so I presume you will be using headphones so they do not set off the mic? Also, with respect to this error you are getting--are you running this on a laptop or desktop? Just curious as laptops typically have built in microphones. Also, when you run the sound setup utility--with a mic connected--are you able to do test RTs successfully?
