Runtime Error 75 - Path Access Error
Hello,
I got a trial code for Medialab just now. I could open the software but failed to get it work. Once I open the samples, a dialog jumped out and said Run time error 75, path/access error. Then the software closed automatically. And the experiment editor can not open... I tried to reinstall, but problem was still there. I am wondering what the cause of the problem is.

Hm. It sounds like it may be a permission issue of some sort.
What version of the software are you currently running (200x.xxx.xxx)?
I am running the v2008. I had not used MediaLab before, should I try some older version?

The 2008 version should work. Hm.
Have you tried manually running the file from its sample folder?
The sample folder is most likely located here on your machine: 'C:\MediaLab\Samples\Sample1' .
Yes, I tried to open the sample from the sample folder but still got an error warning...The 2008 version should work. Hm.

If you right click on the Samples folder (in Windows Explorer) and select Properties and then Security--can you verify that you have full user control of the folder and files within it?
