What is the 'Edit' option for?

What is the purpose of the edit function on the subject/condition screen in an experiment?
The edit option is for editing Word documents in your experiment--it's an old feature that isn't really useful any more unless you include Word docs in your session--in which case if the option is turned on, you can double click Word docs to edit them. If you don't use Word docs (we usually recommend HTML items as an alternative), then it doesn't serve any function.
