collecting RT while a video is running
How can I collect RT while a video stimulus is running without making it stop?
I tried by making a compound input but the video always stops when i give the response (press space key), I tried to use another stimulus to get the RT (Rt stimulus) but I can´t find the way to make both (the video file and the RT stimulus) run at same time. If I place the video before the RT stimulus the programs waits until the video is over until run the Rtimag . If I place the video after the RT Stimulus I just see a flash of the first frame.
Have you tried something like this:
video|0,0,0|0 and then ~|0,0,0|rt:any

I have a similar problem to the original poster:
I want to run an *.avi stimuli. During the video the user is required to press a button. I want to register this reaction time, but also I want to video to continue playing.
Your suggested option doesn`t work at all.

ps. the vids are roughly 30 seconds in duration, 98 megs in size.
ps. 2 - i also want to do the same with audio clips.
