    Error: Please try again

    [edited from support email]

Here it is. It says "Please Try Again" when you try to make a choice on my computer. The student re-wrote it in a different questionaire, and it works fine, but I can't see what we did wrong on this form. Can you see the error?

I think it's because the item has no variable name. I tried changing the variable name from "none" to "v1" and it worked fine. Oh, you know why that happens.. because if a "skipto" value matches the variable name, then selecting that option will require you to answer again--it's a way to force a correct response. In this case, the variable name "none" matched all the skipto values for the response options--i.e., "none". Never anticipated that!
