DirectRT Program Error: Missing loc and/or time variables (case 30048)

    Hello,

I am having an issue with running DirectRTv2014. I have attached both files I am using as well as the style code being used for these tasks. For the auditory file, DirectRT says that there is a "missing loc value in row 2." However, there is no such missing value there nor anywhere else in the program (as far as I know). For the visual file, DirectRT says there is a "style 0 requested, but does not exist." However, there is no style 0 requested in the program. Eventually, I did create a style 0 with the same characteristics as the other styles to try and fix the problem, but then the visual file began to tell me I am missing values in my time column, which I can also not seem to figure out. I have also tried emailing the helpdesk for Empirisoft, but have not heard back yet.

I would greatly appreciate your help,

    Confused Student

DirectRT input files cannot have a column named minmax in them. Try removing it and seeing if this removes the error message when you run your input files in DirectRT.

If you wish to use the MinMax features, the MinMax cells are in the styles.drt file. See here in the DirectRT manual for more information about using the MinMax cells:

Unfortunately, when I removed the min/max columns from the datasheet, it now states that there is a missing value in row 5 of the time column.

Please either upload a copy of the file that gives this error to a post on this discussion thread or send it to support@empirisoft.com and reference the case number 30048

    Oops!

Sorry, I thought I had attached them. Here are the files having the above issues.

In the file named "Visual Task 3-Back Task.csv" change the column C name to !crit.

If that does not resolve the error, try removing any use of double quotation marks from any stim cells you try to present as text.

    Support,

I h ave now got the files running. However, in the setup there are supposed to be multiple screens of text that pop up on screen that are coded in different lines (ex: line 6 & 7). However, only the second line of text shows up. This problem also occurs with the audio files with only one audio file playing at a time although I have followed the troubleshooting tips on the interactive help menu that should allow simultaneous play. This happens for both audio and visual files in both files. I have followed the steps on the interactive help screen that should allow for multiple lines of code to be played and/or displayed simultaneously. However, they are not showing simultaneously - only one of the lines are showing up.
