Hi Empirisoft,
I’m trying to create a relatively standard priming paradigm with DirectRT (e.g., briefly showing a word, then presenting a second word (or image) and having people make a categorization judgment of the 2nd word/image). I used the ‘standard priming’ file in the DirectRT samples, but wound up changing it quite a bit (to match more closely the Fazio, Sanbonmatsu, Powell, and Kardes, 1986, procedure). The problem is that when I try to run the file, I keep getting an error message that: “row 2 has a missing value for one of its TIME columns”. When I check the CSV file this is based on, I can’t for the life of me figure out why it’s saying this. I’ve attached the file to this message in the hopes that you can explain the problem to me.

You seem to be missing the BGR column--I expect that's throwing off the reading in of the input file. Try the attached revision. See also:

And a search "missing row" (or similar) will probably turn up a few other relevant hits.
I am a student doing a research project in psychology. I read through the online DirectRT guide and created this sample input file (see attached). When I go to run this file, though, a message pops up saying, "Row 3 has a missing value for one of its TIME columns." However, if you look at the input file, Row 3 has no missing values, right? Please help!!!
It looks like your input file is no longer comma delimited (csv). See if this helps:
