Online rating with a custom scale (case 29158)
I am interested in using the online rating feature of MediaLab and/or DirectRT for continuously rating a video. However I need to use a customized rating scale rather than the one provided. Is there any way that I can create a custom rating scale while having this on-line rating feature?

When using the online rating item type in MediaLab, the only features of the scale that can be changed are the number of and label ratings of the scale points (see here in the MediaLab manual for more information on the online rating item: http://www.empirisoft.com/medialab/help/queitemtype.htm#olr)
Creation of the grid item you want would be most likely accomplished using the Custom item type. This requires the use of html code to create the type of item and/or task you want MediaLab to run. I tried making a custom grid using html. However I need to change the Item Type to "Custom" (instead of "On-Line Rating") in order for it to run. Is there any way to integrate the custom grid to online rating?
The existing versions of MediaLab cannot change the type of scale used in the online rating item in the .que files.
