RBG + RWG with MANY video stimuli

RBG + RWG with MANY video stimuli

    Hello!

Goal: take about 900 video stimuli and have DirectRT randomize them in different combinations of within-groups and between groups

Problem: that's just way too many rows to program one at a time

Solution?: can I place the names of the stimuli in a .txt file and have DirectRT choose from them at random by entering #(stimulus list name) in the stim column?

It's just not working. Instead of playing "movie 1" it's simply showing the following text: "movie 1.bmp"

Why ".bmp"? That makes no sense, because my movies are in .wmv format.

    Thanks for any suggestions!

You need to use the underscore to indicate that it's a movie rather than an image. Check out the section on stimulus types in the section on "Stim" in the user's guide and please let me know if that doesn't resolve it.
