I am finding that when I make changes in the style file, the changes are not seen when I run the input file. The problem is that picture stimuli stored in my stim file do not align in the centre of the display...they persistently align left. Notably, your samples work and I use exactly the same codes that you used in your sample to centre (loc 0, 0, 1) and in the style editor #1 = Center....however, when I run my programme the picture simulus is centred, but aligns left.

Make sure that you are editing the style file located in the same folder as your input file. If there is a style file in this folder it will override any style settings you choose in the default C:\DirectRT\style.drt file. The latter style file is applied only in cases where no local style file is found in the folder containing your input file.
