Can I select a pic from many pics, and then the selected pic was shown as the next stim in DirectRT? Many thanks to you.
Just to make sure I'm clear--you mean you would like to randomly select (either via truly random or with replacement) and then display a picture?

I want to select randomly the most beautful photo from many photos, and then the other photos can disapper or be displaced by the selected photo.
If it's the most beautiful photo, then it wouldn't be random. Are you kidding or am I missing something?

I have six pictures in one screen, and I want to let subjects select a picture based on special standard,such as beauty. Once a subject selected certain numbered picture, then he (or she) can see the selected pictures so as to make a plan for first date.
Is can be done in your software?

Ahhh, I see. Yes, DirectRT (and MediaLab) can handle that kind of thing. You could use basic conditional skipping (see skipping in the user's guide or online here:

Essentially, you could show multiple (random or fixed) images and then send them to a specific trial based on what key they press.

Mmm, I can see where you are going with this (nice idea) but I think what you are looking for is most easily accomplished using skips something like this:
C:\DirectRT\samples\3 ordering trials\skipping.csv
Take a look at that sample (and skipping in the users guide) and see if that helps.
