Can the highlight color of the continue button, or any other formatting of this button, be changed?

Yes, the images are located in the graphics subfolder of the main MediaLab folder. You could load them up in an image editor and adjust the overall hues (or whatever) and then just save them. Probably want to back them up first just in case.
