I am having trouble with randomization. I have a bunch of questions in random order that require a text response. But when I look at my output, the answers do not correspond to the questions. Is there anyway I could fix it so that my output will show me which question was asked and the answer the subject gave?
The trials in the data file will always be listed in their non-randomized order for making analysis easier. In cases where you do need to use the random order information, simply check out the column in your data file called order--this will tell you the position in which the trial actually occurred.
