Need item repeated later in series

If the participant chooses the incorrect answer to a scale response item, 1) I want them to be notified (this I know how to do with the skip function), and 2) I want the item to be repeated again later in the same series of randomly presented items. I do not want the item repeated right away.

Hi Karen,

There is no easy answer for this one unless you are willing to create a second set of identical questions which are skipped over if they were answered correctly the first time.

This solution might work. How do I ensure that the identical questions are skipped if they are answered correctly?

Good question. Off the top of my head--you could use a responses.xls file (see Advanced Features in the guide). Place a blank instruction item before each repeat question. In the responses.xls file, check to see if they got the answer right the first time. If not, then skip over the repeat version and go to the next check. Does that make sense?
